Hannah Griffiths Marketing Manager

I joined the CaseWare Marketing team in January 2017 after completing a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2012 and gaining invaluable experience in a range of marketing roles for a variety of software companies. I am responsible for marketing planning and strategy, as well as the day-to-day running of the marketing team.

"CaseWare’s relaxed atmosphere and friendly teams make the office a great place to work. The job role is varied and CaseWare gives me an opportunity to challenge myself and progress in my career."

How did you get into marketing?
I decided not to go to university when I left school as I didn’t know what I wanted to do career wise. I got a job working in admin and support for a local software company, which I thought would be a stop gap, but I fell in love with the company and I knew straight away the environment and culture that came as part of working in a software company was the right fit for me. After working for about a year, they asked me if I would want to join the marketing team and I jumped at the chance and haven’t looked back! They let me have one day off a week to go to college and I got my CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing. Since joining CaseWare I have successfully completed a CIM Postgraduate Diploma and marketing for a software company has become my passion!

How were your first few weeks at CaseWare?
I started on the first day back after Christmas in 2017, so the atmosphere was really nice and everyone was catching up after their Christmas break. All of my colleagues were very welcoming and it didn’t take long before I felt at home and part of the team. The training in my induction was tailored specifically to me and only catered for my needs, which immediately made me realise they cared about my individual needs right from the beginning. The senior management team let me settle in at my own speed, while letting me know where they were when I needed them. My time working at CaseWare has absolutely flown by, and I have enjoyed it from the start.

What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy reading, baking and quizzes. I go to a pub quiz with my family twice a month and enjoy the social element as well as testing our knowledge and learning new things. I also enjoy sailing, walking and socialising with my friends and family at a nice pub or restaurant.
